Conversation groups
ICAlbany partners with several organizations to offer opportunities to participate in smaller group activities. These include conversational English classes, English cafés, and Bible discussion groups.
Please note: There is no cost, or commitment required, but exact time and location may change each semester. Please contact the organization(s) for more information.
English Café
Practice your English with friends and native English speakers in an informal environment. Each week we have a topical discussion in small groups where you will learn more about American culture and other interesting topics. Achieve better English fluency as you focus on new vocabulary and pronunciation. There is no cost or commitment required – and free coffee/tea!
Time: Tuesday evenings , 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Bible Discussion Groups
Our Bible discussion groups focus on providing students with a better understanding of the Bible and the central teachings found there. The groups use a version of the Bible written in simple, modern English. No previous background in Bible study is necessary. The groups are open to both Christians and non-Christians.
